Digital Green Lean self-assessment
Assess the culture and leadership conditions your organisation needs to integrate Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and Circular Economy. The questionnaire follows the published Digital Green Lean maturity model: 7 dimensions, 29 subdimensions and 86 systems.
Before you start
Rate where your organisation stands today, not where you would like it to be. Each question shows what the subdimension covers and the five maturity levels of the model, from Reactive to Way of Life. Choose “Don’t know” when you do not have enough information; it does not count in the results.
- 1
Reactive
Reactive and firefighting. No problem-solving in place. No planning or strategy. Isolated employees without autonomy: no planning of I4.0 or CE, their applicable tools, or implementation. Issues are dealt with when they happen with no formal structure.
- 2
Formal
Formal working structure with team learning. First standards (policies, procedures, processes) are developed: essential planning. Only area or topic specialists work with autonomy. There is an I4.0 plan, and the first circularities appear in the organisation.
- 3
Deployed
Systems and skills are deployed in dedicated teams and are goal-oriented towards vision and values. Process standardisation. Planning, scheduling and resourcing in place. A vision has been developed for I4.0 and CE implementation through employees.
- 4
Autonomous
Managed autonomously, most employees are involved at all levels: process learning. Processes interconnected. The organisation deploys applicable I4.0 tools, implements internal and external circularities, and defines pilots where successful implementation can be measured.
- 5
Way of Life
Continuous improvement. Daily habit with full empowerment of organisation members. I4.0 and CE deliver positive results in the areas where they are applied. Smart people, processes, systems and products are in place and sustainable.
